Following several years of dedicated effort, we are pleased to announce that Cabinet approval has been secured, thanks to the invaluable support of the Honorable Minister of Industries Sunil Hadunneththi, the Event Management Association of Sri Lanka and the Ministry’s staff.
With this milestone, our sector has attained formal recognition as an industry.
To guide its future trajectory, a special committee will be established, alongside ministry-appointed professionals. This body will be tasked with providing the strategic oversight and support necessary for the industry’s continued growth and development.
Also we extend our sincere gratitude to Samit Garg and the executive committee of EEMA India, for their invaluable support and guidance in achieving this significant milestone
